Performance
New for 2021, the Cadillac XT6 offers an alternative to the base engine. It starts with the all-new 2.0-liter Turbo-Four. It pumps out an energetic 237 horsepower and is mated with the nine-speed automatic transmission. If you are looking for an upgrade, you'll find it in the available 310-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine. The XT6 comes with standard front-wheel drive for your adventures, but you can really take your luxury to new heights with the available all-wheel drive.
The new XT6 is not just a pretty face. It is capable of getting its wheels dirty, as well. When properly equipped, it is able to tow as much as 4,000 pounds behind it. That is plenty of muscle to carry your boat or camper out to Naperville for the weekend.
Safety Features
Exquisite luxury would mean nothing if you don't feel good behind the wheel. That is why the Cadillac XT4 comes loaded with an extensive list of standard driver-assist features. This luxury midsize puts your mind at ease with forward collision warning, front pedestrian braking, lane keep assist, and lane departure warning, among its list of included technology. The Teen Driver system lets you set the volume and speed limitations when you let your youngest drivers take the wheel.
You would feel good if your Cadillac only included those items. But the XT6 goes a step further by making other advanced technology available, like Night Vision Infrared Pedestrian and animal detection, a Surround-view parking camera and head-up display. The available safety alert seat will let you know when a crash is imminent by causing your seat to vibrate at the hint of danger.
Enjoyable Technology
Imagine, every time you drive into Chicago, you get a great view of the iconic skyline through the sunroof. It comes on every trim level of the XT6. You'll find the Cadillac User Experience infotainment system contains loads of standard technology, like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration and a wireless hotspot.
